Three bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, extended kitchen-diner with doors to the garden, and a garage at the side. Family — three children at Barnhill — 3 years at £1,550. Kitchen-diner. The extension had taken the room to about 15ft by 12ft — bigger than the original 1930s kitchen. Refitted with handle-less units and laminate worktop. Freestanding cooker, Hotpoint, gas. Pull it forward. 3 years, family of five, three children. Grease behind is standard for this family size. Wall: one pass. Both cavities spray, 20 minutes. Main oven: two passes. Top oven: one. Six-burner hob — family-size, each burner lifted. Extractor hood, filter soaked, housing degreased. Fridge-freezer: large, cleaned. Dishwasher: wiped. Cupboards inside. Floor: vinyl plank, degreased.

Garden door tracks. 80ft garden, three children, football in the winter, paddling pool in the summer. The track had mud, grass, and the fine silty debris you get near a brook. Vacuumed and wiped twice.
