A Victorian terrace on Boundaries Road — one of the tree-lined residential streets between Balham High Road and Tooting Bec Common. The family had rented for 3 years with two children. Managed by Foxtons Balham.

The kitchen was a rear extension — not the original Victorian galley, but a modern addition with bifold doors to a small garden. Built-in Bosch oven (dismantled and degreased, 50 minutes — 3 years of family cooking including weekly baking with the kids). Quartz worktops wiped with pH-neutral cleaner. Bifold door tracks had accumulated soil and food debris from the garden traffic — vacuumed and wiped. Inside every cupboard and drawer cleaned, including the children's snack cupboard which had crumbs in every corner.

The bathroom had moderate limescale at ~265 ppm — shower screen, chrome taps, and showerhead all descaled. Grout between the floor tiles had darkened and needed scrubbing with a specialist brush. The bath panel was removable — we cleaned behind it (agents don't always check, but Foxtons do).
