Detached chalet bungalow off Rushmore Hill — set back from the road behind a gravel drive, with a view from the back garden that looked straight across the fields toward Shoreham. A couple who had downsized from a 5-bed in Chislehurst — 2 years at £2,100. Three bedrooms (one ground floor, two in the converted loft), bathroom upstairs, shower room downstairs, lounge, kitchen-diner, conservatory at the back, detached garage. Van on the gravel drive. Quiet. You could hear a tractor in the next field.
Kitchen-diner. Ground floor, about 14ft by 12ft. Refitted — handle-less white units, quartz worktop, integrated Siemens oven. Door off, glass out, sprayed. 15 minutes. One pass — a couple who cooked well but kept the kitchen immaculate. Induction hob: barely marked. Extractor: filter soaked. Dishwasher wiped. Floor: porcelain tile, mopped.
Conservatory. About 10ft by 8ft, off the kitchen-diner. Glass panels on three sides plus the roof. Views over the garden and the Kent countryside. Each panel cleaned from inside. Roof panels: extension pole. Track at the sliding door — leaf debris and condensation residue from winter. Vacuumed and wiped. Floor: tile continuing from the kitchen. 25 minutes.
Lounge. About 15ft by 13ft. Carpet vacuumed. Bay window — uPVC. Cleaned per section. Wood-burning stove in a brick hearth. Ash cleared, brick wiped, slate hearth wiped. Faint heat ring — documented as permanent. Same approach as our Downe and Hampton Wick wood-burner work.

Upstairs — the chalet loft. Stairs up from the hallway. Two bedrooms with dormer windows and sloping ceilings where the roof comes down. The master: dormer window looking over the back garden and the fields. The guest room: dormer to the front, Rushmore Hill through the trees.
Upstairs bathroom. Bath-shower combo. ~275 ppm, 2 years. One pass. 15 minutes.
Detached garage. Concrete floor, workbench, shelving, garden tools (removed). Swept, shelving wiped. Cobwebs in the roof timbers. 10 minutes.
4 hours 30 minutes. Two people. The conservatory and the wood burner are where the detail goes. The rest is a well-maintained chalet bungalow from a couple who looked after it.
