End of Tenancy Cleaning in Hatton — What We See
Hatton is where the Piccadilly line meets the flight path. Hatton Cross station puts you at Terminal 4 in one stop and Piccadilly Circus in 45 minutes. The housing runs along Hatton Road and the streets off it — a mix of everything: Victorian semi-detached cottages near Bedfont village (two reception rooms, period features, small gardens), 1930s semis further along, post-war terraces, chalet bungalows, and newer purpose-built flats and maisonettes. Roberts Hunt & Co have been the Bedfont independent since 1993.
The tenant base is airport. Ground handlers, cabin crew, security, airline operations — people who work shifts and need to be close. Tenancies run shorter than family suburbs. 12–18 months is standard. The Piccadilly line is the draw — no other Heathrow-edge area has a tube station this close to the residential streets.

Get Your Exact Price2-Bed First-Floor Maisonette Off Hatton Road — Airline Ground Staff, 14 Months, Acoustic Glazing, Piccadilly Line, Roberts Hunt Checkout
A real end of tenancy clean in Hatton — the property, the challenges, the result.
First-floor maisonette off Hatton Road — own front door at the side, carpeted stairs up, two bedrooms, bathroom, open-plan kitchen-lounge. Built maybe mid-1980s, part of a small block of four. A ground handler at Terminal 3 — 14 months, lived alone, shift pattern, walked to Hatton Cross for the staff bus. £1,200 a month. Roberts Hunt managing from their Bedfont office.
Van on the street. Free. No restrictions.
Kit carried up the stairs. Narrow turn at the top. Standard maisonette access.
Kitchen-lounge. Open plan, about 15ft by 11ft. Kitchen section: fitted, compact. Integrated oven, electric. Door off, glass out, spray, 15 minutes. One pass — 14 months, someone who worked 12-hour shifts and lived on meal deals and microwave dinners. Light grease. Hob done, ceramic. Extractor recirculating, filter soaked. Fridge cleaned. Cupboards — some barely opened. Floor: laminate, mopped.
Lounge section: carpet vacuumed. Front window facing the road — acoustic double glazing, sealed unit. Cleaned from inside. The sill had the same kerosene film as the Harmondsworth job three streets east. Wiped. You stop noticing the planes after about 20 minutes. They come in low over the roof, one every couple of minutes at peak.
Bathroom. Shower room — electric shower, pedestal basin, toilet. Compact. ~260 ppm, 14 months, one person. One pass on everything. Quick. Fan working. No mould. 10 minutes.
Two bedrooms. Both carpet. Front bedroom: acoustic glazing again, same kerosene film on the sill. Rear bedroom: window to the communal garden. Quieter. Both rooms: wardrobes wiped, skirting wiped.
Stairs swept. Front door wiped both sides.
2 hours 25 minutes. One person. One of the lightest cleans in the set — single occupant, shift worker, 14 months, minimal cooking. The acoustic glazing and the kerosene are the Hatton details. Everything else is a standard maisonette.
Roberts Hunt came next morning. Their Bedfont lettings person handles Hatton Road, Green Man Lane, and the streets around the station. Kitchen: oven opened — barely used. Sills: kerosene cleaned. Glazing: fine. Shower: done. 6 minutes. Passed.
Deposit back in 5 days. Full return. He was moving to a 2-bed flat in Hounslow — further from the runway, closer to the High Street, same Piccadilly line.
Hatton is airport cleaning. Short tenancies, light use, shift workers who are barely home. The planes are the constant. We clean the flat, wipe the kerosene, and the deposit comes back before the next tenant moves in. Our guide on deposit dispute evidence covers flight-path properties and quick-turnaround lets.
“Bedfont lettings checkout (Hatton Road, Green Man Lane, station area). Oven opened — barely used. Sills kerosene cleaned. Glazing fine. Shower done. 6 minutes. Deposit back in 5 days, full return.”

- ~260 ppm limescale — one pass, one person, quick

Local Info for Hatton
Parking
Hatton has limited CPZ near the station. Residential streets are mostly free. Some properties have driveways or allocated spaces. Van outside on most TW14 jobs.
Common Challenges
- Heathrow flight path — directly under the approach. Acoustic glazing standard on most properties. Cleaned from inside, between-pane dust vacuumed on secondary-glazed units. Same approach as our Harmondsworth and Longford flight-path work.
- Hard water at ~260 ppm — moderate limescale. Phosphoric acid descaler, 10-minute dwell.
- Short tenancies — airport shift workers, 12–18 months typical. Lighter ovens, less limescale, quicker turnarounds. Our property turnaround guide covers quick-turnover lets.
- Mixed stock — Victorian cottages in Bedfont village, 1930s semis, post-war terraces, newer flats. Each type needs different time. Same mixed-era approach as our Feltham work.
- Aviation kerosene particulate — fine film on sills and window frames under the flight path. Wiped from inside. External deposits noted as building maintenance. Same as our Harmondsworth work.
- Maisonette layouts — many TW14 properties are first-floor maisonettes with own front door, stairs up, and private rear garden. Kit carried up. Our guide on fair wear and tear covers flight-path properties.
