Two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen-living room, and a small courtyard garden. The cottage was tiny and perfect — the kind of house that looks like it should be in the Cotswolds but is actually 8 minutes' walk from Parliament Hill. Kitchen-living room. About 14ft by 11ft. Low ceiling — maybe 2.3 metres. Original timber beams across the ceiling. Dusted — the beams collect dust in the grain.
